As an experienced executive with an accomplished career in maritime management and consulting across numerous sectors of the industry, John leads Maritime Consulting Partners, LLC as its Managing Partner. He maintains his focus on ensuring the success of their clients by delivering high quality services through proven project management techniques.
Early in his career, as a U.S. Coast Guard licensed Master, John sailed in various sectors of the industry, including deep sea, towing, passenger and general cargo, thereby gaining valuable experience before moving ashore as a manager. Over the years John has progressed through marine operational management positions in the passenger vessel industry. Most recently, he served as the President of HMS Consulting and Technical, a division of HMS Global Maritime.
John is a marine transportation graduate of the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, NY, also completing minor studies in marine engineering. Additionally, John completed the University of Washington’s Professional Certification in Project Management and holds a MBA in Maritime Shipping and Logistics from Middlesex University, London.
